Our East Campus is BUCT's main campus ground and is the original campus that was founded in 1958. It now holds only master and postgraduate students, but also has a hotel to facilitate short term stay guests, interns and summer campers. Our North campus lies in Nankou Town, Changping District with extraordinary natural beauty, covering an area of 48.53 acres. It is 40 kilometers from the urban area yet is near to Huyu and Badaling-Ming Tomb Scenic Spot. To adhere to an environmentally-friendly and sustainable development pattern with shared communication and cultural features, the Changping campus is built under three phases but only one planning. Once finished, this campus is able to accommodate 18300 students and 1500 faculty members and satisfy their needs of study, work as well as life. Our West campus is located in 98 Zizhuyuan Road, Haidian District, Beijing. Covering an area of 3.63 acres and its floor area of 90543 square meters, it is close to The Black Bamboopark to the west, featuring a wonderful environment and an advantageous location. The West campus undertakes the projects of scientific research, international education & advanced training and the transformation and popularization of achievements. Now there are several offices, i.e., advanced center, graduate school, college of extended learning, national science park of BUCT(West) and center for education learning, shouldering the duty of scientific research & transformation, postgraduate training of MBA, MPA, MPACC, comprehensive training as well as international cooperation on education. The University of Miskolc has offered organized, institutionalized Chinese language and cultural teaching since 2012. In the first year, a minor centre hosted the trainings; afterwards the third Confucius Institute of Hungary was established in August 2013. The uniqueness of our institute is that two Chinese partners contributed to the foundation. On our platform two higher education institutions (universities) and one company work together. This way of cooperation is unprecedented in the global network of Confucius Institutes.
