The professional master’s programs of Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Engineering Management (MEM), and Master of Professional Accounting (MPAcc) at the School of Economics and Management, Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT), have been awarded a 5-star rating from QS Stars.This significant achievement marks the first time programs in Beijing and the broader North China region have received this distinction in the “Business and Management Studies” category. The rating from QS Stars recognizes the programs’ excellence in internationalized education, teaching quality, and industry engagement, earning high recognition from this globally authoritative benchmark.

As an internationally recognized higher education quality evaluation system, QS Starsis renowned for its comprehensive assessment criteria and stringent audit standards. The program evaluation focuses on core indicators such as graduation rates, employment rates, and student-faculty ratios. Through a combination of data collection, professional analysis, and expert review, it conducts a comprehensive assessment of higher education programs.

The 5-star rating earned by BUCT’s three professional masters programs at the School of Economics and Management not only represents international recognition of their teaching quality and talent development model but also signifies that these programs are now positioned to compete with theworld’s top business education programs.
