Vice President Wang Feng’s Address

Vice President Wang Feng reviewed the history of cooperation between our university and Spanish universities. He stated that Sino-Spanish people-to-people and cultural exchanges are not only a core topic of dialogue between the two governments, but also an important practice of China’s high-level opening-up in education. Building upon the existing cooperation foundation between Beijing University of Chemical Technology and Spanish institutions such as the University of Santiago de Compostela, Wang Feng proposed deepening cooperation along three dimensions: establishing mechanisms for faculty-student exchanges and joint training programs, building interdisciplinary joint research platforms based on disciplinary strengths, and establishing regular mechanisms for people-to-people dialogue. These measures aim to ensure the sustainable development of cooperation between Beijing University of Chemical Technology and Spanish universities.
