University of Zaragoza Delegation Visits BUCT


On March 6, a delegation of four from the University of Zaragoza, headed by President Jose Antonio Mayoral Murillo and Vice President Francisco Jose Vicente Beltran Lloris, visited BUCT. President Tan Tianwei had a meeting with the delegation, while Vice President Wang Feng chaired the talks.

President Tan Tianwei Delivers a Speech

Tan Tianwei, on behalf of BUCT, extended a warm welcome to the delegation. He reviewed the cooperation history and past achievements between the two universities, and looks forward to further deepening cooperation and expanding the field of exchanges in the future. He wishes that the two side will jointly cultivate high-quality talents with international vision and innovative spirit.

President Mayoral Delivers a Speech

Mayoral sincerely thanked BUCT for the warm reception. He pointed out that the University of Zaragoza attaches great importance to cooperation with Chinese universities. He believes that there is significant potential for cooperation in many disciplines such as chemistry, chemical engineering, and materials science. And he looks forward to further collaboration on projects such as joint doctoral training and dual master's degrees in the future.

Signing of the Inter-University Agreement on Faculty and Student Exchanges

Witnessed by attendees, President Tan Tianwei and President Mayoral signed an inter-university agreement on faculty and student exchanges.

Guest Professor Appointment Ceremony

During the meeting, an appointment ceremony was held to officially appoint  President Mayoral  as a guest professor at BUCT. President Tan Tianwei presented President Mayoral with the letter of appointment, while student representatives presented flowers and affixed the university badge for him.
