Wang Feng said that since 2022, BUCT and KNRTU have been consistently expanding cooperation in high-quality international talent training in majors like materials science & engineering or process equipment & automation, thus bringing into full play the disciplinary edges of both sides while meeting the needs of specialized talents for the joint construction of the "Belt and Road Initiative". “Previous success has injected in us enormous confidence in pushing forward educational cooperation between the two universities, and we’re looking forward to more exchanges in scientific research in the future.” said Wang. He highly appreciated Sibur for its emphasis on talent training. He also hoped that by joining hands together, the three parties would strive for innovative cooperation models, promote Sino-Russian high-quality educational resources exchange, and achieve the goal of sustainable development.

Yury Kazakov Addressing the Meeting

Yury Kazakov expressed heartfelt thanks for the warm reception and appreciated BUCT for supporting its students with an academically, physically and emotionally well-rounded campus environment. He hoped that there will be more majors open for collaborative talent training and deeper scientific cooperation in adjacent disciplines, so as to strengthen exchange between faculties and personnel and promote in-depth cooperation between the two universities in all aspects.

Zeng Fanli expressed that Sibur attaches great importance to talent training and will continue to fund the 2+2 program between KNRTU and BUCT, so as to provide strong support and communicative channels for talents in the development of Sino-Russian cooperation in the petrochemical field.
